Unifi is committed to the sustainability and preservation of our planet. Unifi’s worldwide facilities participate in environmentally responsible practices, such as utilizing reclaimed energy & water, returnable packaging, certified dyestuffs, pre-treated effluent, and numerous recycling programs. Unifi believes that being socially accountable today will result in a world of natural beauty and plentiful resources tomorrow, and for many generations to come.

	Reduce Waste Unifi has amended manufacturing processes to eliminate or reduce the amount of waste produced. Of the waste that is produced, the majority is recycled.
	Reuse Unifi reclaims water & energy (which are recycled repeatedly) from condensation and dyebaths, which helps heat plants, conserve water, and save finite fossil fuels.
	Recycle Unifi participates in a company-wide recycling program designed to generate awareness and collect reusable products. We recycle all plastics, paper products, aluminum, & tin beverage cans. Additionally, we use returnable packaging and strongly encourage our suppliers to do the same- eliminating millions of pounds of waste annually.
	Redesign Unifi continues to develop eco-friendly solutions for our products, processes, & customers, on a global scale. To date, Unifi has successfully created Repreve®, a completely recycled fiber and Satura®, a family of solution-dyed yarns that saves 18 gallons of water per pound of yarn produced.
